The unbeliever is offended by the claims of Christ. The assume they are right wit God because of their great religious heritage. The believer responds to the truth in love. They love the Father. They love the Son, and they love the Word of God.

True freedom is in Jesus Christ, yet many miss this freedom because of a superficial understanding and a slavery to sin. The Son of God makes one free. The true believer is free from sin and its guilt by the blood of Jesus Christ.
