It gives moral judgments for decision-making. It produces an awe-inspiring obedience. It delivers a right and satisfying verdict.

The glory of God is central to the Bible and therefore is central to the gospel. When Paul presented the gospel to the Athenians, he did not embrace the spirit or culture of Athens but challenged it. He then reasoned with them out of the scriptures.
